Projected Media - Introduction
Welcome to Projected Media - a broad term that spans movies, shorts, TV shows, cartoons, anime and more.
Our team is led by Mary Dumas and includes three main types of content.
- The Renovation Independent/Fan Film Festival, organized by Nat Saenz
- Anime, organised by Adam Beaton
- Cartoons, organised by Thomas Safer.
You will find our day time presentations in the D rooms at the RSCC: D6 for the Film Festival, D7 for Anime, and D8 for Cartoons and the Hugo BDP nominees. In the evenings, we will be showing late night Anime at the Peppermill, in room Roma 1.
Film - Radio Free Albemuth
Renovation is delighted to be showing the feature film Radio Free Albemuth as part of the Renovation Film Festival. To quote a recent review from Variety:
Renovation is also pleased to announce that John Alan Simon, writer and director of the film, will be attending Renovation to introduce the showing and participate in a Q&A session. For full details and to watch the trailer, click here.
Rifftrax Audio Commentaries
Renovation is pleased to announce we will be playing several audio commentary tracks from RiffTrax along side several of our movie selections. RiffTrax are comedic MP3 tracks that you play in-sync with your favorite movies. Written and performed by the stars of the award-winning TV series "Mystery Science Theater 3000", RiffTrax brings the unique humor of "Satellite of Love" partners Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett to Hollywood's hit movies.
