First, you can support the bid by becoming a pre-supporter, Friend, or Really Close Friend, via PayPal below or by contacting one of our RCFI agents directly at a convention where we have a table or a party. Your support now helps us reach more supporters.

Second, whether you do that or not, we want you to believe so strongly that Reno is the right place for your Worldcon in 2011, that you'll cast your vote for it. See, only people with a membership -- supporting or attending -- for the 2009 Worldcon (Anticipation) in Montréal will cast a vote for the site of the 2011 Worldcon. The most direct way to make Reno your Worldcon in 2011 is to vote in 2009. By purchasing at least a supporting membership in Anticipation (currently US$55), you not only can vote for Site Selection, you can participate in selecting the Hugo Awards for 2009 too.

Do either, and you help the bid. Do both, and you maximize your help. In addition, all Pre-Supporters, Friends and Really Close Friends will receive a discount (the full extent of which hasn't yet been announced) towards an attending Worldcon membership should we win the bid.

Note: as of 1 August 2009 we are no longer accepting bid supports online or by post. We will however be accepting bid supports in person at Anticipation until the close of the Site Selection ballot.
